Maisa Kela, Tiina Mäkitalo & Kirsti Pesari - Without a rush

Meeting with the artists December 10th 2-5 pm.

There seem to be less and less of moments in life when you aren't in a rush. That is why those moments have become even more valuable and vital.

Name of our group is Three Colors, but we don't recognize any specific color. And one can create nearly all the beautiful colors of the world with three colors. Our most important colors travel along with us in our souls.

We hope that these colors will stop the time for a moment and you will enjoy them without a rush.

My paintings are born out of passion to reach a moment or view that has touched me. I live of colors and their strength. Painting for me is more of an experience than dictated by reason. My early love towards oil colors has extended to the challenging world of aquarelles.

Tiina Mäkitalo

I am a draftsowman and therefore hooked by graphic arts. Graphic arts with many different techniques is slow and challenging. My paintings are of moods. As a user of colors I base myself more to instincts than rules. Strong colors carry us and give strength.

Kirsti Pesari

Brush stroke is the medium of my expression. With the touch of a brush I get into the core and nuances of the subject. I love colors and they have always affected me. I combine perception and thought in my works, searching for harmony. Aquarelles have challenged me to the basics of painting.
