Oliot ja olijat - ryhmänäyttely - Group exhibition of arts school Maa

A group of fresh and aspiring artists are featuring Olioita ja olijoita -art exhibition at Gallery Nunes 4.8 - 29.8.2010.

The grand opening is August 3rd 17.00 – 20.00.

Behind the Olioita ja olijoita -art exhibition is a group of commencing artists from the Art School MAA who have gathered together this ambitious showing.

The project is coordinated by Egle Oddo.

The artists: Tea Hono, Hanna Kunnari, Hanna-Maria Ojala, Miia Hujanen, Juha Karttunen, Tuomas Tuomiranta, Iina Saarenmaa, Lina Galrito, Jonna Jauhiainen.

A piece of every artist's ego has been resolved into their diary-like art works: paintings, sculptures, drawings, animations, pictures and videos. Their works show a burning passion to create and to tell a story in their own individual way.

Each artist has shown perseverance and determination to find their unique style. This exhibition is a dialogue between these artists willing to test their limits.

On the opening day the exhibition features a performance Sex and Violence.

During the Night of the Arts the exhibition will host an event in which two siblings and one lover combine turmoil and hedonism into a perfect entity. It will be an experience of steadfast rumble and electrical impulses flavoured with two seducing female voices.

On the gig the artists will play ambient-versions of old tunes, but also new unheard pieces. The artists go by the name Baffi Fafalot, Turbo-Rexxxa & Rough Luxus.

The performances are schedule from 5pm to 9 pm.
